Full course description
In this course, we will focus on citizen participation to gain a deeper understanding of why people do and do not participate in public life. You will be introduced to a wide-range of innovative democratic institutions that are designed to encourage more inclusive and deliberative forms of public engagement. In order to gain a fuller understanding of the material, you are encouraged to read the articles, watch the videos, and peruse the websites.
