Universal Design for Learning Seminar (Oct 26 to Nov 2)

Starts Oct 26, 2022

Spots remaining: 9

Full course description

The Universal Design for Learning online seminar is designed to introduce you to the basic principles of UDL—representation, engagement, and expression—and help you incorporate them into your own teaching and online courses.

The seminar starts with a Zoom session in which faculty learn some of the basics of UDL and explore how they might incorporate them into their own course. Following the meeting, participants will participate in two asynchronous discussions in which they will practice applying UDL to their own course and get feedback from peers. In a final Zoom session, participants present their work to the seminar facilitators for additional feedback.

This seminar requires about 5 hours in total over a week and counts as 2-elective credits towards Online Course Design Certificates or Online Teaching Certificates.

Note. If you cannot make one of the live Zoom sessions, you can watch the recording and submit a reflection to the facilitators.
